Research and Design
SCFI has a staff with many years of experience in exhibit development and design. Every exhibit we create goes through a thorough conceptualization phase. This includes researching the scientific principles involved, planning an interactive approach and assessing the project’s feasibility. This process ensures that the chosen concepts translate into eye-catching, interactive and scientifically accurate exhibits.
Prototyping and Fabrication
SCFI builds prototypes of all of its exhibits before going into production. A working model allows us to test the exhibit for accuracy, safety and effectiveness. Our experienced staff work with clients to make sure that each exhibit meets not only SCFI’s own high standards but the client’s expectations as well. Once approved, the production of the different parts of each exhibit is handled by fabrication staff according to their expertise.
Installation and Maintenance
SCFI’s has worked with museums and science centers all over the world to develop eye-catching, interactive exhibit pieces. This has given us the experience needed not only in building but also setting up and maintaining interactive display modules. Our expert staff can handle everything from installation and basic upkeep to major repairs if needed.
